QUICKLY SAID, EPILEPSY IS REOCCURING SEIZURES, AND THERE ARE MANY KINDS...
HERE ARE TWO THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW OF:
* THIS

GRAND MAL SEIZURES WILL CAUSE THE PERSON TO FALL AND JERK OR THRASH VIOLENTY
*Keep calm. Protect the person from further injury--move things
out of the way.
*Do NOT restrain. Do NOT put anything in the mouth.
* If the seizure last longer than 5 min, seek medical assistance.
*Once the seizure has started, you can't stop it. It has
to run its course, and confussion, depression, agitation, irritability, belligerence, and drowsiness are all possible
after-effects of seizures---or seizure of any kind.
*Occasionally--you
may need to turn an unconcious person, onto their side.
COMPLEX PARTIALS, CAUSE THE PERSON TO WANDER, OR EXIBIT ODD BEHAVIOUR
** Know that any strange, unusual behavior is a temporary condition.
* Remove hazards that might injure someone who doesn't know where
he is, or what he's doing.
*Do NOT restrain, it may produce an unconscious aggressive response.
* They will slowly hear and understand
before they are able to speak again, and confusion can last up to 30 min.
---BUT---if the seizure itself,
is longer than 3 min, see medical assistance.
